Life cycle assessment and eco-design in building sector
The webinar illustrates life cycle assessment (LCA) as a tool for assessing and measuring the sustainability of construction products and for the management, maintenance, and decommissioning of buildings. This tool can be used both to compare similar products and to support the planning and design of products and services (eco-design).

A senior expert specialising in life cycle assessment studies and environmental impact assessment, with a degree in Business Administration. He has worked for ART-ER S. cons. p. a. in the Sustainable Development area since 2000. Extensive experience in sectoral environmental policies, dissemination of the circular economy in companies, environmental product certification and footprint studies. He has managed and participated in technical activities of European projects under the LIFE, Interreg, Horizon 2020, etc. programmes.
